Business Computer Solutions

So what are business computer solutions? Well basically anything related to your computer systems and networks can be installed, upgraded and maintained by razorbyte Systems. This can include procuring new equipment and developing a plan to minimise downtime while new equipment is installed. Ensuring clients data is backed up and the backups are actually usable. We can obviously do all the small task as well like assisting with questions relating to Microsoft office, Internet, emails. Advanced diagnostics on servers and desktops can be performed to ensure that everything is running to the best of its ability. Unfortunately virus and malware are now fairly common with computer systems (even those with the latest antivirus product are not immune) so we are happy to isolate the infected machine and promptly restore back to a safe state.

Maintenance contract

There are typically two types of support offered by razorbyte. The first is break fix, this is the classic reactive style of support whereby an issue is detected and the client logs a call and then razorbyte's fixes. The other is pro active monitoring of the system where we perform numerous daily checks (anti virus up today, backups have taken place, sufficient storage available. The advantage small issues are noticed and resolved before they result in large issue that costs heaps in lost staff productivity. The old adage of a stitch in time is relevant with computer system too. We can design a tailored plan to suit your specific requirements. These plans can include 

  • a mutually agreed number of hours support per month

  • pro active monitoring to identify and resolve issues before the user notices

Remote support

While Mudgee is a small town and travelling to client sites is never a problem we still prefer remote support as the quickest resolution to the majority of issues. This simply means razorbyte can connect to the PC or server with a problem and remotely fix the problems. This results in a much quicker resolution to the problem. This type of service is charged in 15 minute blocks rather than a full callout so it is financially more appealing to the clients who only pay for the short block of time the job took.
